Sagittarius Tattoo Sagitarius

Astrological Put Sagittarius in ninth sign in the Zodiac, originating from the constellation of Sagittarius. In western astrology, the sign is no longer aligned with the constellation as a result of the precession of the equinoxes. Sagittarius is classed as a positive or masculine, extrovert sign; its element is fire and its quality is mutable. Sagittarius is ruled by the planet Jupiter. Individuals born when the sun was in this sign are considered Sagittarius individuals. Under the tropical zodiac, the sun enters Sagittarius around November 22-23 and exits around December 21. Under the sidereal zodiac, it is currently there roughly from December 16 to January 14. People born on these juncture dates would have to have an astrological chart drawn if they wished to determine which sign the sun was in at the exact time of their birth.
In mythology Sagittarius is often associated with either a Satyr or a Centaur (in the case of the latter, often the centaur Charon, who taught and tutored various heroes in Greek myth). In Greek mythology, centaurs were adventurous, brave, and wise, but they were also given to brawling and uncivilized behavior. Sagittarius also goes by the name Toxates ("The Archer") in mythology literature.

The astrological symbol for Sagittarius has a dual meaning. The first and most common is that of a bow and arrow. The second and less well-known is that of an arrow lifting up a cross-shaped burden, representing the struggle the Sagittarius faces.

Sagittarius is widely thought to be compatible with same element signs, Aries and Leo. There are many variables that determine compatibility in astrology, such as birth dates, birth months, birth years, position of a sign within the sun, the moon, the stars, etc. The signs listed as compatible with Sagittarius do not reflect an individual profile or individual reading as interpreted within astrology, but rather reflect a general guideline and reference to compatibility as dictated by variables such as qualities and elements within the Zodiac.[7] Professional astrologers rarely boil compatibility down to just the sun-sign. The branch in astrology dealing with interpersonal compatibilities is called Synastry.

Scorpio Tattoo

As we know that Scorpio Tattoo is the eighth sign of the zodiac, reigning over the calendar year from October 23 to November 21, midway through autumn and approaching the dead of winter. Indeed, the approach of death and the following period of birth and renewal are at the heart of this often maligned but frequently tattooed astrology symbol. And scorpion has had various meanings and representations in different cultures in history.
For example in Mesopotamia, Gilgamesh scorpion approaches mountains where scorpion folk guard the entrance. Additionally, the Akkadians called the constellation Scorpio, Girths, meaning the Sizer, or Stinger and “Place Where One Bows Down”. And in Egyptian mythology, the scorpion stands for Set, the Trickster and brother of Nephthys, nemesis and opponent of Osiris, and Isis. And also in Falaknuma palace of Hyderabad, India, was laid out in the shape of a scorpion with two stingers spreading out as wings to the north.

Scorpio Tattoo also used by artist that was the eighth of the twelve signs of the zodiac, corresponding to the constellation Scorpius, and is most often depicted as a Scorpion. World's Smallest Monkeys

If you're a sucker for cute furry animals then you'll be in for a treat over at Dark Roasted Blend, who this week have collated a spread of some of the not-so-well-known primates of the planet.

The "Aww" inducing list includes the titchy thumb-sized pygmy marmoset monkey, named after the French word marmouset, which means shrimp, or dwarf, "They range in length from 5 to 6 inches not including the tail, which is an amazing 6 to 8 inches," say DRB. There are 18 recorded species of marmoset and, unlike other monkeys they have claws rather than nails, tactile hairs on their wrists and lack wisdom teeth, making them slightly more primitive than other monkeys.

Pygmy marmosets are found in the rainforests of Brazil, Ecuador, Peru and Columbia. They live in the upper canopy of the forest, no doubt to steer clear of bigger, heavier predators, and survive on an omnivorous diet of fruit, leaves, insects, small reptiles and their favorite nibble, tree sap. Specialized incisors enable the marmoset to gnaw through even the toughest tree bark, allowing easy access to their favorite gummy fluid.

Living in groups of two to six, usually consisting of a breeding pair plus their offspring, marmoset families are fiercely territorial often defending an area of up to 100 acres – that's a lot of rainforest for the midget mammals. Don't expect to see them in the wild though; they're nippy little blighters and move like lighting through the trees, so you'll have to make do with these sweet pics instead.
