Amie Lee Trash

Yesterday I got home from work to find this amazing print below in a tube in my fusebox! This was done by the lovely lady Amie Lee Trash a tattooist and total spunk from Hervey bay. Here's some more eye candy you might enjoy... I know I do! Cupcakes and zombies and trash OH MY! I can't wait to see what new trashy goodness that she will create!
Amie is currently working at Fraser Coast Tattoo.

Tattoo Darling v.2

Mimsy Gleeson
This girl has got so many things going for her that I can't not mention her in my blog. She does work from a studio but is known for tattooing out of her vintage trailer at events such as Wintersun and Greazefest. Hence the name Mimsy's Trailer Trash Tattoos. She does the cutest mix of pin ups, zombies, cupcakes, lipsticks, hair dryers, perfumes and other girly creations. She recently got to tattoo the sweetest and sexiest pinup there is Sabina Kelly when she was out her for the Sydney Tattoo Convention. I think i'll shoot her an email to get tattooed at this years Greazefest...
Oh I almost forgot you might recognise her from the SBS documentary Roller Derby Dolls skating under Mimsy Mayhem.

Back In The Habit

Yesterday I finally got my hair done which was long overdue, never has my hair looked so bad. I guess that's what happens when life gets in the way of being attractive. I also headed to blackbird corner, my favourite shop in Newcastle you can find them here. I bought a book i've been meaning to buy for a while now which is Tattoos by Mitch O'Connell. I bought it without really flicking through it and when I got home I was stoked at these two designs. Tonight I'm having my birthday party and it's a trailer trash theme. So i've been to every op shop in Mayfield collecting things to make my backyard look delightful. I'm hoping the weather keeps up.
Last night I went to training, so many new lovely faces and a few old ones that I love to give hugs. I've missed derby love so much and i'm so glad to be back. I got my fair share of bruises which always makes a derby girl happy!
